Jason Wedlick Head Coach

Jason is excited to be back for his 4th season as Head Coach of the Lodge 88 Lionfish. He utilizes thoughtful technique-driven coaching to swimmers ages four and older. For the past 20 years, Jason has worked with Houston swimmers of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

In addition to the Lionfish, Jason owns and operates HTX Swims a year round swim club and is the Head Swimming Coach at St. John’s. 

  • Numerous National, Jr National, Sectional, State qualifiers.
  • Ten of his swimmers competed for their college teams at conference or NCAA Championship meets this past year alone.
  • Admin Vice-Chair of GULF Swimming Board of Directors 2014-2018
  • USA Swimming National Committee for Club Development 2014 - 2018.
  • Has served on multiple committees and select coaching of the Gulf All-Star team, Gulf Zone team, and "Catch the Spirit" camps

Hrisa Katsigiannis Assistant Head Coach

Coach Hrisa has been coaching swim for 16 years and teaching for the past 12 years, and she truly loves getting to combine both in such a fun environment at the Lodge! Swimming has always been a big part of her life, backstroke is her favorite (with breaststroke as a very close second!). Coach Hrisa believes there is nothing better than watching kids build confidence, improve their skills, and have a blast doing it. She is so excited for another amazing season with the Lionfish and can’t wait to cheer everyone on, celebrate progress, and make lots of great memories together in and out of the pool!

Keira Wedlick

Keira Wedlick is excited for her 2nd year with Lodge 88 Lionfish Summer League Swim Team. Growing up immersed in the world of swimming, Keira began her journey in the pool at the age of six having been poolside most of her life with a swim coach as a parent.

Throughout her competitive swimming career, Keira trained with RICE Aquatics and HTX Swims, where she honed her skills across various strokes and distances.

Keira is finishing her 1st year at Texas A&M University where she intends on being a dentist.  Keira is a proud graduate of DeBakey High School for Health Professions, where she balanced rigorous academics with her commitment to swimming.

As a coach, Keira brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the sport to the Lionfish team. Her approach emphasizes technique, discipline, and fostering a love for swimming among young athletes. With her background and passion, Keira is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of swimmers and contributing to the team’s continued success.

Elizabeth Hay Assistant Coach

Coach Elizabeth is back for her 3rd year with the Lionfish swim team. Elizabeth is currently finishing her first year at Northeastern College in Boston. Elizabeth is proud graduate of St Johns here in Houston where she excelled not only academically but on the soccer filed. Elizabeth is not only a coach of the Lionfish but a former swimmer as well!
